New York High School Lacrosse - Bellport drops to Walt Whitman
April 24, 2025: Brookhaven, NY 11719 Walt Whitman Wildcats (Huntington Station, NY) followers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the host Bellport Clippers (Brookhaven, NY), 12-5 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Walt Whitman advances its record to 4-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Commack (Commack, NY) to play the Cougars in a Section 11 I game on Saturday, April 26. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 0-2.
The Clippers now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Babylon for a non-league game on Saturday, April 26.
