In Thursday's non-league test, the Milford Bearcats (Milford, IL) softball squad the host Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), by a count of 8-5.

Next, the Bearcats meet the Westville Tigers (Westville, IL) in a Vermilion Valley test, on Monday, April 28. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 19-2 record after their 13-1 league win over Armstrong (Armstrong, IL).
