The Foothills Christian Knights triumphed over the host Francis Parker Lancers softball squad by a count of 17-2 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, May 2. Foothills Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.

The Lancers (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-City Christian (Vista, CA). The Eagles enter the Coastal challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Tri-City Christian overcame La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA), 14-0, in a non-league challenge.
