In Thursday's non-league match, the host Graham Red Devils softball team scored a tight 9-5 win over the Greater Vision Academy Lions.

The Red Devils (3-14) will now prepare for their match against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets come into the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A match with a 11-7 record. In their last match, Jordan-Matthews nipped Eastern Randolph (Ramseur, NC), 14-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Lions confront the Riverside Christian Academy Royals (Fayetteville, NC) in a Eastern Airborne match, on Thursday, May 1. Greater Vision Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record.
