Thurston-Cuming County (Bancroft, NE) fans left the game pleased Friday as they saw their baseball team gain a win over the visiting Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE), 11-1 in a non-league battle.

The (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE). The Pioneers enter the non-league battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, Fort Calhoun was overwhelmed by South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Huskies face the Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) in a non-league battle, on Friday, April 24. Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a 12-8 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Twin River (Genoa, NE).
