In Friday's non-league bout, the Clinton Prairie Gophers (Frankfort, IN) baseball squad edged the host Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN), by a tally of 5-4.

Next up, the Gophers encounter the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 25. Clinton Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 6-3 record after their 19-9 non-league loss to Milford (Milford, IL).
