The Mountain Pointe Pride baseball squad (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 5-0 in Friday's league contest with the host Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ)

With the triumph, Chaparral moves its record to 12-13 on the season. The Firebirds travel to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ) to confront the Scorpions in a non-league contest on Monday, April 27. The Scorpions come into the contest with a record of 8-9. Desert Edge won 6-1 in their recent league contest against Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ)

The Pride now possess a 2-24 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake Havasu for a non-league contest on Monday, April 27. Mountain Pointe will confront a Knights squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Ironwood (Glendale, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 17-8.
