The Harper Creek Beavers softball squad (Battle Creek, MI), was routed 10-7 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Hamilton Hawkeyes (Hamilton, MI)

With the triumph, Hamilton improves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Hawkeyes travel to Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI) to face the Dux in a Ottawa-Kent - Blue contest on Tuesday, April 28. The Dux enter the contest with a record of 7-1.

The Beavers now hold a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Eaton Rapids for a non-league test on Saturday, April 25. Harper Creek will clash with a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Springport (Springport, MI). The Greyhounds record now stands at 10-4.
