Illinois High School Softball - Clemente bounces King
April 25, 2022: Chicago, IL 60653 Clemente Wildcats (Chicago, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host King Jaguars (Chicago, IL), 13-9 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Little Village for a Chicago Public Blue challenge on Tuesday, April 26. Clemente will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 21-4 league loss to Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL). The Phoenix record now stands at 1-5.
With the loss, King falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Amundsen (Chicago, IL) to face the Vikings in a Chicago Public Blue challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 8-2. Amundsen won 12-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Von Steuben (Chicago, IL)
