The Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT) softball routed the visiting Valley Regional Warriors (Deep River, CT), 15-7 in Monday's league bout.

The Blue Devils (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against Westbrook (Westbrook, CT). The Knights go into the Shoreline - Large bout with a 1-8 record.

The Warriors now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to North Branford for a Shoreline - Large bout on Wednesday, April 27. Valley Regional will confront a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Berlin (Berlin, CT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-4.
