South Carolina High School Baseball - Spring Valley can't hold off Airport
April 25, 2023: West Columbia, SC 29170 In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Airport Eagles baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the Spring Valley Vikings.
The Eagles (9-5) will now prepare for their game against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC). The Indians go into the non-league game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Gilbert was edged by Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC), 3-2, in a league game.
The Vikings (4-15) will now prepare for their game against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Bengals go into the 5A Region 3 game with a 16-4 record. In their last game, Blythewood tipped Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC), 9-2, in a league game.
