New York High School Baseball - Ballston Spa sneaks past La Salle Institute
April 25, 2023: Ballston Spa, NY 12020 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Ballston Spa Scotties (Ballston Spa, NY) and the visiting La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY), saw Ballston Spa's baseball squad edge La Salle Institute by a count of 9-8.
Coming up next, the Scotties play the Bethlehem Central Eagles (Delmar, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle, on Friday, April 28. Ballston Spa will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Eagles enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 4-3 league win over Niskayuna (Niskayuna, NY).
The Cadets now possess a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Cohoes for a Section 2 Colonial battle on Wednesday, April 26. La Salle Institute will play a Tigers squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.
