Georgia High School Soccer - Putnam County held off by Union County
April 25, 2023: Blairsville, GA 30512 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league test between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the visiting Putnam County War Eagles (Eatonton, GA), saw Union County's soccer squad get by Putnam County by a count of 1-0.
The Panthers now hold a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Tattnall County for a non-league test on Friday, April 28. Union County will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Fellowship Christian (Roswell, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Putnam County drops to 15-1 on the season.
