Alabama High School Softball - Calera bounces McAdory
April 25, 2023: Calera, AL 35040 Calera Eagles (Calera, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting McAdory Yellowjackets (McCalla, AL), 9-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 19-16 record. They take the field next when they host Bibb County for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Calera will face a Choctaws squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Gordo (Gordo, AL). The Choctaws record now stands at 14-15.
With the loss, McAdory falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to face the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 27-13. Tuscaloosa County won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Demopolis (Demopolis, AL)
