Wisconsin High School Softball - Poynette holds off Lake Mills
April 25, 2023: Lake Mills, WI 53551 Poynette Pumas (Poynette, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lake Mills L-Cats (Lake Mills, WI), 3-1 in a league challenge.
The Pumas now own a 9-0 record. They take the field next when they host Columbus for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Poynette will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Lakeside Lutheran (Lake Mills, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.
In their next game, the L-Cats clash with the Lodi Blue Devils (Lodi, WI) in a Capitol - North game, on Thursday, April 27. Lake Mills will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 4-4 record after their 6-1 league win over Luther Prep (Watertown, WI).
