Washington High School Softball - Mead gets by University
April 25, 2023: Spokane, WA 99218 Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) and the visiting University Titans (Spokane, WA), witnessed Mead's softball squad tip University by a count of 2-1.
The Panthers now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Central Valley for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane match on Thursday, April 27. Mead will face a Bears squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA). The Bears record now stands at 5-6.
With the loss, University moves to 7-2 on the season. The Titans host Cheney (Cheney, WA) to face the Blackhawks in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane match on Thursday, April 27. The Blackhawks go into the match with a record of 6-6. Cheney won 14-9 in their recent league match against Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA)
