Ohio High School Softball - Salem holds off Minerva
April 25, 2023: Salem, OH 44460 The Salem Quakers the visiting Minerva Lions softball squad by a count of 4-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Quakers (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Beaver (Lisbon, OH). The Beavers go into the non-league battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Beaver nudged East Palestine (East Palestine, OH), 13-0, in a non-league battle.
The Lions now sport a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Marlington for a Eastern Buckeye battle on Thursday, April 27. Minerva will meet a Dukes squad coming off a 2-0 league win over West Branch (Beloit, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 17-1.
