Virginia High School Baseball - Lancaster gets by Northumberland
April 25, 2024: Lancaster, VA 22503 Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA), 2-0 in a league test.
With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Red Devils host Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to battle the Raiders in a Northern Neck test on Monday, April 29. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 10-3. Rappahannock lost 6-5 in their recent league test against Essex (Tappahannock, VA)
With the defeat, Northumberland falls to 11-3 on the season. The Indians host Essex (Tappahannock, VA) to battle the Trojans in a Northern Neck test on Tuesday, April 30. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 9-6.
