April 25, 2024: Scottville, MI 49454 Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Montague Wildcats (Montague, MI) and the host Mason County Central Spartans (Scottville, MI), saw Montague's baseball squad knock off Mason County Central by a count of 17-5.
Coming up next, the Wildcats play the Fremont Packers (Fremont, MI) in a Western Michigan battle, on Tuesday, April 30. Montague will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Packers enter the battle with a 5-5 record after their 10-5 league loss to Oakridge (Muskegon, MI).
The Spartans now possess a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 1.
