With the victory, Clinton moves its record to 11-7 on the year. The Dark Horses host St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southeastern Athletic 2A bout on Friday, April 26. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a record of 4-13. St. Pauls lost 4-0 in their recent league bout against Red Springs (Red Springs, NC)
In their next game, the Panthers confront the Southwest Onslow Stallions (Jacksonville, NC) in a East Central 2A bout, on Tuesday, April 30. East Duplin will attempt to move on its 13-5 season record. The Stallions enter the bout with a 9-5 record after their 5-0 league win over James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
