April 25, 2024: North Bellmore, NY 11710 Carey Seahawks (Franklin Square, NY) followers exited the stadium content Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Mepham Pirates (North Bellmore, NY), 8-5 in a league battle.
The Seahawks now have a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Somers for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 27. Carey will clash with a Tuskers squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Tuskers record now stands at 9-1.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Long Beach Marines (Long Beach, NY) in a Section 8 B - League 2 battle, on Saturday, April 27. Mepham will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Marines come into the battle with a 5-2 record after their 17-1 league win over Elmont Memorial (Elmont, NY).
