April 25, 2024: Norfolk, VA 23517 Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Phoebus Phantoms (Hampton, VA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Commodores confront the Norcom Greyhounds (Portsmouth, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 1. Maury will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 4-0 league loss to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA).
In their next game, the Phantoms battle the Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) in a Peninsula bout, on Tuesday, April 30. Phoebus will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Dukes go into the bout with a 7-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA).
