Iowa High School Soccer - Waverly-Shell Rock knocks off Turkey Valley
April 25, 2024: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks (Waverly, IA) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Go-Hawks confront the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) in a Northeast Iowa challenge, on Thursday, April 25. Waverly-Shell Rock will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record. The Chickasaws enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA).
The Trojans now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hudson for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. Turkey Valley will confront a Pirates team coming off a 2-1 league win over Denver (Denver, IA). The Pirates record now stands at 13-5.
