In Thursday's league contest, the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA), by a margin of 13-6.

With the triumph, Meyersdale moves its record to 13-1 on the year. The Red Raiders host Southern (Oakland, MD) to play the Rams in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 30. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 9-6. Southern lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Allegany (Cumberland, MD)

In their next game, the Mountaineers play the Shade Panthers (Cairnbrook, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, April 26. Berlin Brothersvalley will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record.
