Missouri High School Softball - Scott County Central bounces Campbell
April 25, 2024: Sikeston, MO 63555 Scott County Central Braves (Sikeston, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Campbell Camels (Campbell, MO), 17-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Braves now own a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Delta for a Class 1 District 2 challenge on Friday, April 26. Scott County Central will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Woodland (Marble Hill, MO). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-13.
With the loss, Campbell falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Camels host Delta (Deering, MO) to battle the Chargers in a Class 1 District 1 challenge on Friday, April 26. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 3-7. Delta lost 28-1 in their recent league challenge against Holcomb (Holcomb, MO)
