Ohio High School Softball - Cardington-Lincoln bounces Mt. Gilead
April 25, 2024: Cardington, OH 43315 Cardington-Lincoln Pirates (Cardington, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mt. Gilead Indians (Mt. Gilead, OH), 14-0 in a league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Union for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. Cardington-Lincoln will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-6 league loss to Bellefontaine (Bellefontaine, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-11.
With the loss, Mt. Gilead falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH) to battle the Golden Gophers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 27. The Golden Gophers enter the challenge with a record of 2-10. Ridgemont lost 10-6 in their recent non-league challenge against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH)
