In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves softball team scored a nice 13-4 win over the Northwood Chargers.

Coming up next, the Fighting Red Wolves encounter the Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 29. Cedar Ridge will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Firebirds enter the outing with a 10-8 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC).

The Chargers (7-13) will now prepare for their outing against Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Jets enter the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A outing with a 14-4 record. In their last outing, Jordan-Matthews prevailed over Graham (Graham, NC), 17-0, in a league outing.
