Wisconsin High School Softball - Mineral Point gets by Cuba City
April 25, 2024: Mineral Point, WI 53565 The Mineral Point Pointers nipped the visiting Cuba City Cubans softball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Pointers (12-0) will now prepare for their battle against Boscobel (Boscobel, WI). The Bulldogs go into the SWAL battle with a 9-1 record. In their last battle, Boscobel held off Fennimore (Fennimore, WI), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Cubans now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Platteville for a SWC battle on Friday, April 26. Cuba City will confront a Hillmen squad coming off a 5-4 league win over Lancaster (Lancaster, WI). The Hillmen record now stands at 4-6.
