April 25, 2024: Detroit, MI 48234 East English Village Prep (Detroit, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Pershing Doughboys (Detroit, MI), 18-1 in a league challenge.
The now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Osborn for a Detroit Public - East challenge on Monday, April 29. East English Village Prep will face a Knights squad coming off a 5-5 league Denby (Detroit, MI). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Pershing falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Doughboys travel to Central (Detroit, MI) to face the Trail Blazers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Trail Blazers enter the challenge with a record of 1-1.
