Connecticut High School Softball - Simsbury bounces Granby Memorial
April 25, 2024: Simsbury, CT 06070 Simsbury Trojans (Simsbury, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Granby Memorial Bears (Granby, CT), 16-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wethersfield for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. Simsbury will face a Eagles squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Berlin (Berlin, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Granby Memorial falls to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bears host East Windsor (East Windsor, CT) to face the Panthers in a North Central Connecticut challenge on Wednesday, May 1. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-6.
