Virginia High School Softball - Loudoun County holds off Millbrook
April 25, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20175 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA) and the visiting Millbrook Pioneers (Winchester, VA), witnessed Loudoun County's softball squad tip Millbrook by a count of 5-3.
The Captains now sport a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to John Champe for a match on Tuesday, April 30. Loudoun County will face a Knights squad coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Millbrook moves to 6-6 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Fauquier (Warrenton, VA) to face the Falcons in a Northwestern match on Friday, April 26. The Falcons go into the match with a record of 7-5. Fauquier lost 5-4 in their recent league match against Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA)
