California High School Softball - Mt. Whitney gets by Porterville
April 25, 2024: Visalia, CA 93277 Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA) and the visiting Porterville Panthers (Porterville, CA), witnessed Mt. Whitney's softball squad tip Porterville by a count of 12-11.
The Pioneers now sport a 3-21 record. They play next when they travel to Golden West for a East Yosemite match on Tuesday, April 30. Mt. Whitney will face a Trailblazers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Monache (Porterville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 17-7.
With the loss, Porterville moves to 7-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to Redwood (Visalia, CA) to face the Rangers in a East Yosemite match on Tuesday, April 30. The Rangers go into the match with a record of 13-9. Redwood lost 4-1 in their recent league test against El Diamante (Visalia, CA)
