Pennsylvania High School Softball - Upper Moreland bounces Upper Darby
April 25, 2024: Drexel Hill, PA 19026 The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Upper Moreland Bears (Willow Grove, PA) and the host Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA), saw Upper Moreland's softball squad nip Upper Darby by a count of 8-1.
The Bears now sport a 8-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh for a Suburban One - Liberty match on Friday, April 26. Upper Moreland will face a Colonials squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Haverford (Havertown, PA). The Colonials record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Upper Darby falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Royals host Harriton (Rosemont, PA) to face the Rams in a Central match on Friday, April 26. The Rams enter the match with a record of 0-0.
