Pittston Patriots (Pittston, PA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), 13-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Pittston advances its record to 14-0 on the season. The Patriots host Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA) to battle the Spartans in a Wyoming Valley 1 match on Tuesday, April 29. The Spartans come into the match with a record of 6-9. Wyoming Valley West lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Wilkes-Barre (Wilkes-Barre, PA)

The Trojans now have a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilkes-Barre for a Wyoming Valley 1 match on Tuesday, April 29. Greater Nanticoke Area will battle a Wolfpack squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 9-6.
