Tennessee High School Baseball - Southwind nips Liberty Tech Magnet
April 25, 2025: Memphis, TN 38125 The Southwind Jaguars baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Liberty Tech Magnet Crusaders to 13 in the Jaguars non-league win on Friday.
The Jaguars now hold a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they host Germantown for a 4A District 15 test on Saturday, April 26. Southwind will play a Red Devils team coming off a 15-0 league loss to Collierville (Collierville, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-11.
With the defeat, Liberty Tech Magnet drops to 4-14 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Madison (Jackson, TN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Mustangs go into the test with a record of 13-13. Madison won 20-10 in their recent non-league test against Middleton (Middleton, TN)
