The West Mecklenburg Hawks baseball squad (Charlotte, NC), was overwhelmed 13-0 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC)

With the triumph, Mallard Creek moves its record to 7-14 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Chambers (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Cougars in a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Wednesday, April 30. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 2-12. Chambers lost 12-6 in their recent league contest against West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC)

The Hawks now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding University for a Queen City 3A/4A contest on Monday, April 28. West Mecklenburg will confront a Rams squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC). The Rams record now stands at 0-11.
