The Monte Vista Christian Mustangs baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Stevenson Pirates to 1 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

The Mustangs now own a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they host Milpitas for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. Monte Vista Christian will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 13-3 league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-13.

With the defeat, Stevenson drops to 10-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA) to clash with the Breakers in a PCAL - Mission test on Wednesday, April 30. The Breakers go into the test with a record of 7-10. Pacific Grove lost 7-6 in their recent non-league test against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA)
