The Falls Lake Firebirds volleyball squad (Creedmoor, NC), was edged 3-2 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC)

With the win, Triangle Math & Science improves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC) to encounter the Unicorns in a battle on Thursday, May 1. The Unicorns go into the battle with a record of 10-7.

The Firebirds now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside-Durham for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 1. Falls Lake will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Pirates record now stands at 15-4.
