New York High School Lacrosse - Penfield overwhelms Canandaigua Academy
April 25, 2025: Canandaigua, NY 14424 The Penfield Patriots lacrosse squad scored 12 points and limited the host Canandaigua Academy Braves to 4 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rush-Henrietta for a Section 5 Monroe County I challenge on Tuesday, April 29. Penfield will clash with a Royal Comets squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Royal Comets record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Canandaigua Academy falls to 3-2 on the year. The Braves travel to Irondequoit (Rochester, NY) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 29. The Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Irondequoit lost 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY)
