Iowa High School Soccer - Webster City knocks off Greene County
April 25, 2025: Jefferson, IA 50129 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Webster City Lynx (Webster City, IA) and the host Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA), saw Webster City's soccer squad triumph over Greene County by a count of 7-2.
The Lynx (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Clear Lake (Clear Lake, IA). The Lions enter the North Central battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, Clear Lake nudged Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
With the loss, Greene County moves to 0-16 on the year. The Rams host Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 28. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Logan-Magnolia won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA)
