With the triumph, Athens moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to confront the Big Reds in a non-league contest on Friday, May 9. The Big Reds come into the contest with a record of 0-3.
The Panthers now possess a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Muskingum for a contest on Monday, April 28. New Lexington will confront a Tornadoes squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Tri-Valley (Dresden, OH). The Tornadoes record now stands at 1-2.
