April 25, 2025: Homer, AK 99603 Homer Mariners (Homer, AK) boosters exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 15-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Homer moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Mariners travel to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Saturday, April 26. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 0-3. Grace Christian lost 6-0 in their recent non-league test against Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK)
The Huskies now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kodiak for a Northern Lights test on Saturday, April 26. Redington will clash with a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
