Maine High School Softball - Lewiston gets by Brewer
April 25, 2025: Brewer, ME 04412 The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Lewiston Blue Devils (Lewiston, ME) and the host Brewer Witches (Brewer, ME), observed Lewiston's softball team get by Brewer by a tally of 3-2.
The Blue Devils (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME). The Eagles go into the Class A North bout with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Mt. Ararat was nipped by Mt. Blue (Farmington, ME), 6-5, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Witches battle the Ellsworth Eagles (Ellsworth, ME) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 29. Brewer will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Old Town (Old Town, ME).
