The Wasilla Warriors softball squad (Wasilla, AK), was edged 6-5 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Kenai Central Kardinals (Kenai, AK)

With the triumph, Kenai Central improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Kardinals travel to Redington (Wasilla, AK) to face the Huskies in a Northern Lights contest on Thursday, May 1. The Huskies enter the contest with a record of 0-3. Redington lost 10-1 in their recent non-league contest against Homer (Homer, AK)

The Warriors now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Colony for a Railbelt contest on Tuesday, April 29. Wasilla will face a Knights squad coming off a 16-1 non-league win over North Pole (North Pole, AK). The Knights record now stands at 15-4.
