In Friday's league match, the host Thomas Jefferson Jaguars softball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Peters Township Indians.

The Jaguars (7-6) will now prepare for their match against Connellsville (Connellsville, PA). The Falcons go into the WPIAL 5A 4 match with a 10-3 record. In their last match, Connellsville tipped Trinity (Washington, PA), 5-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Indians battle the Albert Gallatin Colonials (Uniontown, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 match, on Tuesday, April 29. Peters Township will attempt to better on its 3-12 season record.
