South Dakota High School Softball - Vermillion bested by Tri-Valley
April 25, 2025: Colton, SD 57018 The Tri-Valley Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Vermillion Tanagers softball squad by a count of 13-3 in Friday's league challenge.
Next, the Mustangs play the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 28. Tri-Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Madison (Madison, SD).
The Tanagers (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Madison (Madison, SD). The Bulldogs enter the Class A challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Madison overcame Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD), 5-3, in a league challenge.
