In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Berne Union Rockets softball team scored a nice 21-5 win over the Briggs Bruins.

The Rockets (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Wellston (Wellston, OH). The Golden Rockets come into the non-league match with a 14-5 record. In their last match, Wellston notched a victory over Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH), 13-2, in a league match.
