Nevada High School Softball - North Tahoe knocked off by Silver Stage

The Silver Stage Nighthawks overwhelmed the visiting North Tahoe Lakers softball squad by a count of 17-7 in Saturday's league challenge.

Next, the Nighthawks meet the Pershing County Mustangs (Lovelock, NV) in a 2A- Northern challenge, on Tuesday, April 28. Silver Stage will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 14-11 record after their 21-20 league loss to Sierra Lutheran (Carson City, NV).

The Lakers (0-20) will now prepare for their challenge against Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV). The Longhorns go into the 2A- Northern challenge with a 23-1 record. In their last challenge, Battle Mountain toppled Yerington (Yerington, NV), 10-5, in a league challenge.
