April 26, 2021: Orion, IL 61273 Orion/Sherrard United (Orion, IL) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts (Chillicothe, IL), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the United confront the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Thursday, April 29. Orion/Sherrard will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
The Grey Ghosts now possess a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Olympia for a Illini Prairie challenge on Thursday, April 29. Illinois Valley Central will confront a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Macomb (Macomb, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
