In Wednesday's league challenge, the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) baseball squad the host Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), by a final score of 6-4.

With the win, Abington Heights upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Comets host Valley View (Archbald, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Monday, May 1. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Valley View lost 8-3 in their recent non-league challenge against North Pocono (Covington Township, PA)

With the defeat, Scranton falls to 5-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA) to battle the Buckhorns in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. The Buckhorns come into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Wallenpaupack Area won 5-2 in their recent league challenge against West Scranton (Scranton, PA)
